Setting the Legacy

In Pampanga, year 1926, Santiago Lagman Ocampo went door-to-door with his karitela selling fine jewelry off of his collection. From In Pampanga, year 1926, Santiago Lagman Ocampo went door-to-door with his karitela, selling fine jewelry from his treasured collection. From those humble beginnings, his passion for craftsmanship and dedication to quality quickly earned the trust of families and communities. What started as a small venture of bringing timeless pieces directly to people’s homes soon grew into a legacy of elegance and excellence.

Legacy Continued

Santiago’s daughter, the late Amada Ocampo-Gutierrez, alongside her husband, Victor, carried on her father’s vision and legacy by putting up their own fine jewellery shop in the bustling city of Olongapo.
They catered to transient passengers, visiting service men, and merchants in the Subic Bay area, offering them timeless pieces that carried both beauty and heritage.

Their dedication not only strengthened the family’s reputation for trust and craftsmanship but also established Ocampo’s Fine Jewellery as a household name in the region.

The Next Generation

From Amada and Victor’s eight children, four graduated from the Gemological Institute of America, California, in the 1980’s. Vittsi, Louie, and Loo earned degrees in Gemology while the youngest, Dulzzi, received a certificate in Jewellery Design. Each of them pursued apprenticeship and further training to hone their craft in various reputable institutions in the USA.
